What happened
İzmir Development Agency has launched its 2026 Technical Support Programmes. The package comprises the Green Transformation in Industry Technical Support Programme and the İzmir Studies Technical Support Programme.
The industry programme is intended to build the capacity of businesses involved in industrial production in İzmir to undertake green transformation. The İzmir Studies programme is designed to improve capacity in spatial planning and support preparation of work aimed at protecting marine resources and local values.
Why it matters
Industrial businesses in İzmir seeking to develop their green-transition capabilities can apply under the industry-focused programme. The second programme may be relevant to organisations preparing spatial-planning or protection work involving marine resources and local assets in the province.
The announcement does not specify a funding amount. Support is presented as technical support rather than a financial award.
What's next
Applications must be lodged through KAYS by 30 December 2026. The agency has published separate application guides for each programme.
