DECISION BRIEF
What this desk follows
CDP disclosures and scores, EcoVadis supplier assessments, and ESG data or ratings from LSEG, S&P Global and MSCI are separate products. Their audiences, questionnaires, evidence rules, coverage and methodologies are not interchangeable, so movement in one output does not automatically explain movement in another.
This hub follows public changes to methodologies, questionnaires, evidence expectations, assessment coverage and scoring processes. It connects those changes to Net Zero’s independently written coverage; it does not reproduce licensed score tables or proprietary datasets.
Why it matters for Turkish business
Built for: Sustainability, procurement, investor relations, finance and risk teams responding to customer assessments, disclosure requests, lender reviews or external ESG data products.
The practical impact falls on companies invited to disclose, suppliers assessed by customers, listed issuers monitored by capital-market data providers, and the advisers who have to keep one evidence set consistent across several requests.
The useful question is not “How do we improve ESG?” in the abstract. It is which stakeholder uses which platform, which business entity and period are assessed, what evidence is accepted, and what changed since the last response.
What to do next
- Map every active assessment or disclosure request to its business owner, responding entity, deadline and external user.
- Maintain one controlled evidence library for policies, metrics and supporting records, then map each provider request back to that source rather than rebuilding answers in separate spreadsheets.
- Record methodology and questionnaire changes before comparing year-on-year scores; a changed result can reflect a changed model as well as changed performance.
- Prioritise evidence quality, consistency and remediation of material gaps. Do not optimise isolated answers solely to chase a score.
Coverage boundary
This hub is not investment advice, a ranking service or a substitute for a provider’s current methodology and contractual terms. Proprietary score tables and licensed datasets are not republished.
