What happened
Beyşehir Organised Industrial Zone in Konya has announced a procurement for a packaged wastewater treatment facility. The tender is scheduled for 27 October 2026 at 10:00 in meeting room 159 at the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s new service building in Ankara.
The successful supplier will construct the plant’s units and provide, fit and test its mechanical and electrical systems. The assignment also covers bringing the facility into service, trial operation, routine operation and maintenance, as well as preparing implementation documentation and operating and maintenance manuals.
According to Enerji Günlüğü, the facility itself will be located in Beyşehir. Offers will be calculated from the quantities for individual work items and the unit rates proposed for them. The selected bidder will enter a contract based on the resulting total value.
Participation is restricted to domestic bidders. Tenderers must lodge security of no less than TRY 5.5 million on behalf of the administration.
Why it matters
The project creates a defined procurement opportunity in industrial wastewater infrastructure, while requiring bidders to demonstrate both technical capability and delivery experience. Required submission materials include a construction-method statement, technical specifications for the proposed mechanical and electrical equipment, performance-guarantee documentation and electricity-consumption declarations.
Bidders must also provide a declaration covering contracts completed during the previous five years. These requirements put equipment performance, expected power use and relevant project history at the centre of the evaluation documentation.
For businesses in the Beyşehir industrial zone, the planned facility would add wastewater-treatment infrastructure. Contractors and equipment suppliers considering the tender will need to ensure their technical submissions and security arrangements meet the stated conditions before bidding.
What to do next
Eligible companies should prepare the required corporate registration and signature documents alongside their technical and commercial files. After the contract is notarised, the administration is expected to transfer the site within a maximum of five days. The contractor must start work on site transfer and deliver the project within six months from that date.
