What happened
DeFacto’s 2025 Integrated Report has been awarded Platinum in the Consumer Durables – Textile/Apparel/Luxury category of the 2025 LACP Vision Awards. According to SKD Türkiye, the report achieved 99 points from a possible 100 in the overall assessment.
The publication placed 31st in the EMEA top-100 ranking. It also received a Bronze award in the region’s best shareholder letter category and was listed among Türkiye’s top 25 reports in the country assessment.
Why it matters
The result recognises the presentation and accessibility of DeFacto’s corporate reporting. The LACP jury highlighted the report’s visual identity, consistent typography and page layouts, readability, and use of infographics to make data-heavy material easier to navigate.
For sustainability and reporting teams, the outcome is a reminder to treat format and usability as part of disclosure practice. Reports intended for investors and other stakeholders need to make strategic priorities, information and performance narratives readily accessible, alongside providing the underlying content.
DeFacto said its report brings together its Triple-D framework—Nature, Transformation and Value—with the DeFacto 5.0 strategy. It uses this structure to set out links between strategic priorities, sustainability targets, resources, transformation actions and stakeholder value.
Report design and accessibility
The company incorporated artificial intelligence in producing the report’s imagery and provided an AI-enabled audio version to support access to the content. DeFacto described these choices as reflecting its digital transformation work and the role it assigns to technology, data and innovation.
The award assessment covered entries from more than 20 countries across four continents, according to SKD Türkiye. It focused on communication characteristics including design, information access and visual storytelling.
Company context
Founded in 2004, DeFacto operates more than 500 stores and online channels. The company says it had published sustainability reports for 10 years before moving to an integrated-reporting format in 2024.
DeFacto is a participant in the UN Global Compact, a signatory to the Women’s Empowerment Principles and a Better Cotton member. The LACP recognition concerns the company’s 2025 Integrated Report rather than a separate assessment of those commitments or of sustainability performance.
