What happened
The Türkiye Corporate Responsibility Association is accepting submissions to the 17th Sustainability Value-Creating Organisations Awards. The entry window closes on 15 September 2026.
The programme is for organisations with environmental or social sustainability initiatives. Its stated purpose is to raise the profile of such work and encourage the wider uptake of effective approaches.
According to EkoIQ, projects can be submitted in fields including circular economy, carbon-emissions reduction, climate adaptation and resilience, biodiversity, environmental and social innovation, resource and waste management, sustainable transport, social impact and investment, diversity, equality and inclusion, women’s empowerment, employee wellbeing, employee participation, and organisational culture.
An independent jury comprising representatives from civil society, government and academia will review entries. It will consider project impact, innovative character, demonstrable outcomes, ability to scale and stakeholder participation.
Why it matters
The awards bring environmental and social sustainability activity into a single assessment framework. Applicants therefore need to present more than a project description: the published criteria point to the importance of evidence of results, stakeholder involvement and the prospect of extending an initiative beyond its current scope.
The available themes span operational and organisational issues. This creates routes for projects focused on emissions, materials, waste or mobility as well as work on inclusion, workforce participation, wellbeing and wider social outcomes.
For sustainability teams, the programme may be relevant where a project has defined performance indicators and a clear account of the people or groups involved in delivery and outcomes.
What to do next
Organisations considering an entry should review their project against the jury’s stated measures before the 15 September deadline, particularly whether impacts and outcomes can be evidenced and whether the approach can be replicated or expanded.
Projects chosen for recognition are due to be revealed during the 17th Corporate Responsibility Summit in December 2026.
