What happened
The COP31 Presidency has set out a day-by-day thematic agenda for the United Nations climate conference in Antalya, scheduled for 9–20 November 2026. The programme gives each of the conference’s 12 days a distinct climate-action focus.
Its senior political component, the World Leaders Climate Action Summit, is due to take place on 11 and 12 November. According to EkoIQ, the summit programme includes opening sessions, national statements, leaders’ roundtables and bilateral meetings.
The first summit day is associated with zero waste. The second is centred on resilient cities and the built environment. Roundtable subjects are expected to include climate finance, decarbonisation, circular economy issues and blue climate action.
