What happened

EPİAŞ released the September 2026 YEKDEM feed-in tariffs and domestic component support allowances on 3 September 2026. The tariffs become effective from 1 September 2026 and apply to renewable electricity generation facilities holding YEK certificates that are commissioned by 31 December 2030.

The support rates cover ten renewable technology categories: reservoir-based and run-of-river hydroelectric plants, onshore and offshore wind, solar, geothermal, biogas, waste thermal treatment, waste-derived fuels, and hybrid wind or solar facilities with battery storage. Each category receives a base feed-in tariff and a separate domestic component support amount, both denominated in Turkish lira cents per kilowatt-hour.

September rates show increases compared to prior months across most technologies. Offshore wind support jumped to 103.30 TL cr/kWh in domestic component, while onshore wind reached 77.40 TL cr/kWh. Geothermal and waste thermal treatment received the highest base tariffs at 542.82 and 362.48 TL cr/kWh respectively.
