Uludağ Elektrik is making International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC) and Renewable Energy Resource Guarantee Certificates (YEK-G) available to customers. The certificates are designed to associate an organisation’s electricity use with renewable generation and provide documentation for that association.

I-REC is an international certification arrangement for tracing electricity generated from renewable sources to consumption. The certificate contains information on the generation facility, when the electricity was produced and the relevant energy source. Customers may use I-REC and YEK-G records in work to document electricity consumption associated with renewables.
