What happened
The European Union published a corrigendum on 18 September 2026 to the Dutch-language version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2547.
The implementing regulation, dated 10 December 2025 and published in the Official Journal on 22 December 2025, sets calculation methods for embedded emissions in goods under Regulation (EU) 2023/956.
The correction concerns the final abbreviation defined in the last paragraph of point B.2 in Annex II. It replaces a reference to emissions from an emissions flow with emissions from an emissions source, where those emissions are determined through measurement and expressed in tonnes of CO2e.
Why it matters
Companies using the Dutch text of the calculation rules should note the terminology correction in Annex II. The Official Journal states that the corrigendum does not concern the English version. The published material does not set out any new reporting deadline or other change to the calculation method.
What's next
The corrigendum is dated 18 September 2026. Readers relying on the Dutch-language text can consult the official notice alongside Regulation (EU) 2025/2547.
