What happened
Enerji Piyasaları İşletme A.Ş. (EPİAŞ) published the October 2026 rates for the Renewable Energy Support Mechanism (YEKDEM), effective from 1 October 2026. The schedule covers YEK-certified renewable electricity generation facilities that begin operating no later than 31 December 2030.
Base support rates are 289.74 TL kuruş/kWh for onshore wind, solar, landfill gas and waste-tyre by-products. Reservoir hydro and offshore wind receive 393.69 TL kuruş/kWh, while geothermal and pumped-storage hydro receive 552.21 TL kuruş/kWh. Biomethanisation is set at 472.97 TL kuruş/kWh.
The domestic-component supplement is 78.74 TL kuruş/kWh for several technologies, including solar and onshore wind. It reaches 105.09 TL kuruş/kWh for offshore wind, integrated wind or solar storage, pumped-storage hydro, and wave or current generation. Thermal waste-treatment facilities receive 58.99 TL kuruş/kWh.
Why it matters
The published schedule sets the support values relevant to developers and operators of eligible renewable projects. Projects using qualifying domestic components can receive the additional supplement alongside the applicable electricity purchase tariff, subject to the mechanism’s eligibility conditions.
What's next
The October rates have applied since 1 October 2026. Facilities seeking coverage under this schedule must enter operation by 31 December 2030. EPİAŞ has published the underlying rate notice on its website.
